asa accommodations update

Do not believe people who tell you that Caesar’s Palace has sold out its rooms for Saturday night at ASA. If you search carefully online, they still have rooms for $7999/night. (No, that’s not missing a decimal point.) I don’t know if that includes breakfast.

  1. I found a room 1.5 miles away for only $67/night. I’m still staying at Caesar’s but there are plenty of cheap rooms if you’re willing to travel. With a price that low, you can afford a lot of taxis before reaching $149/night.

  2. I was hoping we wouldn’t sell out the ASA block, that way we would be “forced” to come back in a couple years!

    1. Yes! Or else, one can root for labor strife in the hotel industry to get so bad that we basically alternate between Las Vegas and various Canadian cities. ASA Saskatoon 2012!
