vacation post: from denver

I am happily lounging in Denver with my good friends from grad school. We already have talked about so many things: work, family, how to manage our schedule, how to move to a new city and learn to call it home. We had a great dinner at a restaurant that was trying too hard to be hip, and we laughed at ourselves for thinking we know what is really hip, leftover from our long-gone time in New York City.

It is like the months and years never passed, and we caught up on what our other friends were doing. It seems that just about everyone has landed somewhere interesting and different from what they expected. And it is soooo nice to simply sit around and chat. This is a luxury, and one we appreciate fully.
