A grateful hat tip to my wife, who ran into this helpful little movie on Facebook.* I often joke with her that I tend to be very literal both in what I mean when I speak and in how I interpret what others mean. Needless to say, this likely explains my crippling inability to appreciate poetry.** So, you can imagine my excitement at this music video, which seems perfect for people like me.
Enjoy!
* "Facebook! Stalking old high school crushes has never been so easy!"
** Well, that and the fact that I have absolutely no rhythm whatsoever.
As a final note: For those who are curious about the title, in college my friends and I pioneered the 'Alanis Morrisette Interpretive Sing-Along.' Basically on long road trips you pop in one of her CDs, and make up new lyrics- the funnier the better. It works pretty well because her lyrical structure is really simple, and pretty much everyone has heard her songs way too many times.
As a further side issue: Why is this post cursed? Comments and track-backs re-enabled, and thanks to the reader who let me know they were switched off for some reason.

This is the best thing I’ve seen in a while. It rivals Timberlake and Beyonce on SNL for viewing pleasure.
Thanks for a great Monday morning laugh!
